 |  It has been almost 5 years since GFE Clan started using the Teamspeak VOIP software for clan communication. It has brought our clan a quality like no other with logs stacking over 1 million lines of data.
TeamSpeak 3 (TS3) has been released. It's just a beta, but considering how long we've had to live with TS2, a beta is still big news! There's so much traffic to their site right now that they've simply got a temporary holding page up.
TeamSpeak is a 'voice communication' program (or 'voice comms') most often used for online games. It's like a bunch of chat rooms, all connected together, but the primary form of communication is voice. At its most basic, it's like a conference call, but with lots of fun things you can do -- like making private channels, or muting specific people.
TS3 New Features:
• Voice Quality and Latency with more codecs; now support the latest Speex and CELT codecs and provides automatic microphone adjustment, advanced noise reduction, and echo cancelation.
• Fully integrated 3D sound support, this creates the illusion of a sound source being placed anywhere in three dimensional space
• Permission System that allowing the client to create custom user groups.
• Talk Power we can now configure a Minimum Talk Power variable for each channel.
• Sub-Channels with them own passwords.
• Tabbed Voice-Comming allow you to connect to multiple TS3 servers at once.
• Bookmarks that allowed the users store his preferred servers as bookmarks on IE & etc...
• Avatars now we can configure an avatar which will be displayed when people click on your name.
• Key Bindings the client will allow the user to set his own key bindings such as: push-to-mute/talk etc...).
• Text Messaging with BB code tags to emphasize certain words or phrases by making them e.g. bold or italic.
• URL Catcher which is used to store URLs mentioned during a chat. like on mIRC.
• Per Server Capture and Playback Devices This new feature allows you to do some really cool things like hook up two USB headsets to your computer etc...
• Sound Packs its means that anyone will be able to create his own soundpack and share it with other users easily.
• Translations Both server and client will be UTF-8 native so all languages can be supported.
• The Server Query interface can be switched into an interactive mode which gives you the ability to use the up/down cursor keys for cycling between the last given commands.
• Web Administration Interface will not be part of the server. Instead it will consist of a PHP-based web application, which can handle multiple virtual servers and server instances at once.
• Database Plugin System Developers can now write their own plugin for a completely proprietary database if they so desire.

| Firefox 3.6 Beta 4: Faster and Fixed | | | |
|  With version 3.6 there is another round of Firefox ready to go, beta 4 exactly. According to Mozilla the update will fix more or less 80 bugs... and changes, how third party software will interact with the browser. Aim is to reduce incompatabilities and hangs. For the same reasons, Firefox blocks the possibilty to add components by simply copying them into the respective subfolder.
In general Mozilla also has an eye on the overall performance of their browser, be it JavaScript or reaction times while loading a web page. For this purpose, the organization added a technique to execute scripts asynchronously as well.
Other changes include a new plugin finder service, helping to avoid old plugins, full screen video playback and a new skin managment. The latter allows to change the look & feel with just a mouse click.

|  Finally and after a long wait for TeamFortress2 division these division got official today, GFE is proud to announce today the brand new Team Fortress2 division.
This division will put GFE in one more challenge and all the efforts to make this division succeed will be taken by our officers in command, so he can see GFE bigger and better.

| Crysis 2 Nanosuit 2 Revealed | | | |
|  At GamesCom last week, Cevat Yerli, CEO of Crytek, and Nathan Camarillo, Executive Producer, unveiled the Nanosuit 2, the latest piece of technological hardware for use on the modern battlefield.
The second generation Nanosuit shows Crynet Systems’ latest advancement in infantry combat technology. You'll find a host of technical data about the Nanosuit 2 over on Crynetsystems. The first teaser material with real Crysis 2 info has been released! We learned that Crysis 2 will feature an enhanced nanosuit titled Nanosuit 2.
Crytek has launched the Crynet Systems website loaded with two trailers, twelve wallpapers and a Nanosuit 2 brochure with detailed information. The brochure seems to suggest that the events in Crysis 2 happen 4 years after Crysis, in 2024.
Crysis 2 is currently in development for release on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

| Call of Duty: World at War PC Patch 1.5 + Map Pack 2 | | | |
|  The highly anticipated Patch 1.5 update is here! With it is Map Pack 2.
The Map Pack includes 3 new Multiplayer maps (Banzai, Corrosion, Sub Pens) and 1 new Zombie level (Shi No Numa).
Additionally, the Steam version of Patch 1.5 is also rolling out today – so expect your game to begin auto-updating shortly.
Aside from the PC Patch, the 1.5 Linux Dedicated Server is releasing concurrently.
Notes:
• 3 new MP maps: Banzai, Corrosion, Sup Pens!
• 1 new Zombie map with a new weapon (the Wunderwaffe DG-2), flaming Hell Hounds, new traps, and more: Shi No Numa!
• CO-OP hosts can now kick players from their lobby
